Broker's Comments

Boatshed Norfolk are very pleased to be able to offer to the market a rare and, in this case, totally unique Redbay Stormforce 11 cabin rib. Powered by twin inboard Yamaha 315hp motors with Dual prop Yamaha drives. The boat was bought new from Redbay by the current owners IFCA for inshore fisheries protection duties around the east coast. The boat was built by Redbay in 2011, to order, however, the order was then cancelled. IFCA then bought the vessel (still new and unused), in April 2013 and commissioned Redbay to refit the vessel to the IFCA enforcement vessel spec before her first launch in August of 2013.

The spec is very impressive and extensive as you would expect for a government agency enforcement vessel. No expense has been spared on the boat since commissioning, both from a maintenance perspective and a safety and electronics / nav kit perspective. Her high-end upgraded nav suite is impressive to say the least, with dual redundant everything including dual plotters, (plus back up plotter), radars, DSC VHF radios, Maxsea, Sony Stereo, full heating, Lenco tabs, EPIRB, the list goes on and on. Full rough weather rostrum seating for 6 persons with work stations and storage bins are also included in the fit out. She has a large cuddy cabin forward of the helm that can be twin bunks if so desired, or a large storage area. She has a large electric heads compartment to holding tank. Opposite the heads is a galley station that was actually fitted out as a chart table from hew, so has not been cut into so this can be put back to a galley if so desired.

An additional external helm station was also added to the vessel making her very much a unique and cable all weather vessel for commercial, enforcement, patrol or even private use. With her large aft deck she would be a great offshore dive boat or wind farm vessel or ROV platform. Her aft deck has fittings for an A frame.
The boat remains in service until sold so engine hours will slowly increase and viewing of this super rare vessel is by appointment only due to the service roster.

I have personally been out on and driven the vessel at speed and she performs and handles very well indeed with a smooth and quiet drive with solid sea keeping. She responds very well and appears to be in excellent overall condition.

Two spare outdrives can also be included in the sale dependant on the agreed price.
