Broker's Comments

The Thames Marine Snapdragon is a tough little bilge keeled yacht from the 1960's. Many hundreds of such craft are still to be found in almost every harbour of the British Isles and they are still bringing the same pleasures to their owners as when they were new. This example has been in the same ownership since she was built, which for this size and type of yacht is something of a record. Her last survey, for insurance purposes when she reached 30 yrs of age, revealed no faults as such. The few recommendations (mainly to do with modern thinking re gas installations) were carried out by her owner. She's been out of commission for a year or two now as age creeps up on everyone and is for sale at an almost give away price. Her two engines (one for the dinghy) are laid up in store, as is her inflatable tender. These items are included in the sale.
She badly needs an external wash and brush up, perhaps a hull polish and some internal tlc but she could be made really nice for little cost. A bargain basement boat!
