Broker's Comments

A classic shoal draft yacht from the board of the famous designer Maurice Griffiths, who was also the founding editor of Yachting Monthly. At the time, Medusa's were described as safe, comfortable, easy to handle and cheap to maintain.

This particular model has recently benefited from a first class repaint of the hull as well as an engine rebuild. The boat is believed to have been sailed across the Atlantic during its lifetime as was her sister ship (Tawney Pippet) sailed by the oldest man to sail the atlantic. She does require some work to bring the boat up to the same standard as the hull, but does offer potential to become a superb cruiser for a hands-on new owner. The boat is priced to sell pre season.
