Volvo Penta POD drive system.
Thanks to joystick controls and increased maneuverability of the PODs, the IPS makes docking much easier and in our opinion, safer for less experienced boaters.
In addition to handling, IPS has some other big advantages: noise and vibration are greatly reduced, and exhaust gases are directed out through the drive units underwater. IPS also appears to provide significantly reduced fuel consumption; cruising range is also greatly improved.

Broker's Comments
The Stylish Italian Salpa 50.5 Motor yacht has 3 comfortable cabins and 2 heads.
She is powered by twin Volvo Penta engines and the IPS docking system to ensure easy docking for less experienced captains.
The Salpa 50.5 benefits from the use of vacuum infusion in the construction of her hull and superstructure, leading to a lighter more fuel efficient yacht capable of cruising at around 30 knts.
She has a hydraulic platform and for extra comfort is fitted with Air conditioning and a low noise generator.
A very attractive price for a luxury yacht of this size.
