Today I found the meaning of floating true love. I feel disloyal to the Riva Aquarama Special but I think in my heart she's been eclipsed.
This all wood German, hand built Aguti 20 metre masterpiece has over 50,000 craftsman hours invested in her. She was completed in 2009 at a cost of over €7million but can be bought for a fraction of that. What you can see is rare woods what you can't see is carbon fibre linings everywhere. I spent a happy hour on her and discovered Yachting Perfection.
She literally fell off the drawing board. Built by artists but with every modern amenity and a big pair of MTU's to boot.
