Broker's Comments
This Broom 35 is a really good example of its Marque. A very popular power boat which has stood the test of time. According to the Broom Owners Club there were two versions made, both with an aft cockpit; one a single level cruiser, and the other having a fly bridge - which was enlarged on later models. Although these are both popularly known as the 35 Sedan, it is now thought that the Sedan label originated with the single level model, and the flybridge version should properly be referred to as such. This particular boat is the extended flybridge version.
The boat has a lovely, spacious aft deck and superb flybridge, ideal for entertaining and sun worshippers. The interior is very spacious, well designed and has plenty of storage also. The forward cabin has twin v-berths. The starboard side cabin provides a comfortable double berth, The galley is located on the portside and benefits from plenty of storage space, a new gas cooker, new 12v/240v fridge and decent work surfaces. The light and airy saloon has the capability of providing another generous double berth via the bed settee. Everything on the boat is included in this very reluctant sale!
PLEASE NOTE: The boat was surveyed again in May 23' and there was some blistering on the hull which was not on the 21' survey. Both surveys are available if you send me an email. Also the sea lock at the marina is broken until mid Jan 24’ so the boat cannot get out to sea at the moment! Best to email me prior to bidding on Boatbid for a copy of the surveys.
10th Nov - Both engines fired quickly after being sat since June. I removed the flybridge tonneau which had stretched and was full of water and took some new pics of the flybridge. Note the screen is damaged due to the pressure of the water trapped in the tonneau. New pics of the hull close up added.
