A "dinghy garage" with an electrically operated door opener is a unique feature. The swim platform and transom open to reveal the molded-in compartment for the dinghy, which can be easily deployed, retrieved and concealed. James Bond would not find this unusual but I'm impressed.

As if maneuvering with twin diesels isn't easy enough there's a Max Power bow thruster.

Polaris Inflatable is equipped with downrigger capability for fishing.

Broker's Comments

NOTE: this listing is for full ownership of this 2002 Bracewell Pacesetter 540. A half-share in the two-person LLC currently established to own this boat is being marketed separately.

This 2002 Bracewell Pacesetter 540 is an extremely roomy and comfortable three-stateroom yacht. With an excellent use of space, this boat contains more liveable volume than most 58 - 60 foot vessels. The interior is open with good sightlines fore and aft from the pilothouse. The location of the galley and dinette within the extended pilothouse creates an innovative and practical feature. Dining and entertaining with a view! The Bracewell cabinet shop crafted cherry and birdseye maple into gorgeous custom cabinets and drawers that provide a continuous theme throughout the boat. This is absolutely not a "plastic" interior. Three comfortable and luxurious staterooms are accessed by a wide, open and well-lit staircase - unique in a vessel of this size.

Exterior styling is sleek but doesn't compromise the practical features that enhance safety and comfort at sea. There are side decks all around, a roomy foredeck, a big cockpit and a solidly-built wide swim platform with staples for safety. Handrails are well-placed. Guardrails are secure.

The Pacesetter 540 cruises comfortably and remarkably quietly up to 20 knots. With a pilothouse positioned far forward (and a unique foredeck configuration) excellent forward visibility is maintained at all speeds. When not in a hurry, the boat tracks very well and performs in an economical trawler-like fashion at a speed of 10 knots. Power is a pair of 480 hp Volvo-Penta diesels. The electrical distribution system is clearly a high-quality job. The engineroom offers full standing headroom.

The dinghy garage is just cool.

With exceptional North American craftsmanship, effective use of space, and thrilling performance this boat offers excellent value.
