Broker's Comments

The Lavranos 39 Sloop is a South African Designer of some note. Built in Zimbabwe by African Craftsmen on the Kariba Lake and then sailed to the UK in 1997. The current owner has owned her since 1997 and loved every minute but due to other commitment he has now decided to sell and this is your opportunity to own a wonderful sailing yacht.

Quote from owner "She points really well and is quite fast. The sailing experience is marvellous, as you are in the dry in the doghouse and you don't need to get wet even in the cold and wet weather. "
I have been on board and she certainly is a very impressive and capable yacht and will take you where you want to go. The owner has spent a lot of time and money updating her, she has now been put back onto her mooring so viewing is by appointment, hurry up and make one now.

The boat is potentially interesting, but there is not a single picture of the general arrangement of the interior of the boat or a supporting video. Why not at least take a picture from the companionway looking into the interior of the boat and a corresponsing one from forward; both with a suitably wide lens? Pictures of detail are all very well, but a potential buyer needs overview as well. Other brokers manage it!!
