She sports the &#039;Comfort Pack&#039; with galley amidships, shelves, cabin lights, water bag and tap &amp; sink basin.

		<title>Character Boats - Lytham Pilot REF#341654</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 109 extra photos of this Character Boats - Lytham Pilot .This craft has rigid buoyancy built-in and is certified as a category C craft for three persons under the EU recreational craft directive.

Like all Character Boats the Lytham Pilot can be launched with the rudder and engine in place, as they are protected by the keel, and therefore can be sailed immediately afloat without the hassle of getting into deeper water to ship a rudder or lower a centre-plate.

This appears a very sturdy boat with a reputation for good sailing performance. It looks ideal for teaching children to sail, or for someone who wants a small but stable and forgiving craft.

This Lytham Pilot is available with both a Gaff Rig and a Gunter rig. She has two mast positions allowing use of either as a single sail rig with the mast forward for simple leisurely sailing or with the mast aft for a gaff sloop rig. The boat is well balanced under either sail plan. The spars are a similar length to the boat, making for easy transport.

The Lytham Pilot has a stowage locker under the foredeck and an aft locker which is large enough to store a small 4 stroke outboard engine, its bracket and spare fuel.

The engine is mounted on a removable bracket which simply slots into a base plate mounted on the transom, which is less obtrusive than a permanent bracket.

Oars are stowed along the side seating leaving the cockpit unobstructed. The boat comes with associated warps and equipment to get her on the water.

According to her owner, the trailer has never seen water.

		<title>Woods Skua Catamaran REF#337360</title>
<description>Register with Boatshed to see 49 extra photos of this Woods Skua Catamaran .Richard Woods has been designing sailing and power multihulls for over 40 years. Based in the UK, Woods Designs specialises in the design of multihulls for both home and professional builders. Founded in 1981 they now boast possibly the most comprehensive range of catamaran designs in the world. Nearly 3000 plans and over 200 production catamarans have now been sold. Boats are sailing all over the world. Cruisers have made many comfortable ocean crossings in complete safety while the number of trophies won is testament to the speed of the racing designs.

The Skua is a 9m trailable coastal cruiser/racer and is is the largest boat that can be sensibly demounted and towed behind a car and fits inside a 40ft container.

With round bilge hulls, dagger-boards, kick-up semi-balanced rudders and a performance rig, Skua was designed for those who want a larger version of the micro multihulls like Strider. Basically still a 4 berth, the hulls are larger enough to have &#039;snug doubles&#039; if required. With a greater loading capacity and offshore capability than a micro, Skua can also be considered the minimum size for the longer coastal races.

This one has been recently fully stripped back and modified to improve stiffness and performance. Strip planked cedar construction allows for a super lightweight build.

The current owner has upgraded the following:
new aluminium beams, carbon central pod for engine housing and storage, carbon composite compression strut and prodder, new nets, new squabs, new mainsail and self tacking jib by GP Sails. Step up transom for easy access on and off dock or to a tender. Transom hung rudders on carbon gantries, new deck hatches, Dyneema rigging, all presented in good, clean order.

The mast can be raised/lowered very easily for towing, storage or shipping..
