This Yorktown 39 Masthead Sloop is a production-built fiberglass sloop-rigged sailboat designed and built for safe and comfortable cruising in protected waters, coastal waters, and offshore sailing. She is a Hawaii veteran, sailing to and back from the islands in 2006 after numerous projects getting her ready, such as new standing rigging, new boom, new mainsail, new batteries and more. In 2014 her rigging was dropped again for inspection and had more upgrades and new fore and back stays installed for another trip to Hawaii.

Her hull has a cutaway forefoot, long fin keel, a skeg-mounted rudder with her bottom paint done in summer of 2019 with a projected 5+ year life span. Forward is the V-berth cabin with head compartment and shower to port, aft is the main salon with large dinette, settee berth, diesel heater and galley to port. The engine is on the centerline of the vessel inside a large insulated engine box that provides a lot of nice countertop space to the well-equipped galley.

The lifelines are double stainless steel with plastic coating. The mast & newer boom are aluminum with white paint for protection. There is a stainless steel ballast with stainless keel bolts and backing plates in the bilge. The steering system is a pedestal mounted wheel rod-to-quadrant system, and also has an emergency tiller system.

She is a great liveaboard and a beautiful sailboat.

Bottom Paint in summer of 2019.
